[Steampack]

fun and very challenging

I played this after playing levels 1-12 on the new "for kids" version, and interestingly I found a few of the levels easier on this version. Unless that's just because I had done the levels already, I don't know. I haven't beaten the game yet since I need to leave but in my opinion, this could have gone on the front page instead of the kids' edition.

Pretty nice game; it is simple but very challenging. Simply completing the levels isn't too hard but of course the real goal is to get all the coins, and that is quite hard. Now to go see what the original game plays like! :O

I can't believe some people think this was actually a real game in 1984! I guess this is sort of an inside joke for people following Newgrounds on Facebook/Youtube.

The controls were very difficult; 7 buttons, that's the most buttons I have ever used on a Flash game! It was an intersting challenge, and hard to get all the points (which I didn't).

Snake is always fun, but the egg is annoying to see because it flashes different colors, and the bottom wall is very misleading- you need to mark it as a wall, make a line or something.

Good game, you need really good timing and its fun and addicting. But the 3rd one on level 10 is the hardest in the game, MUCH harder than "the finals."

Thank you SO much for this tutotial! I actually came across it a few years ago... well, I can even give you the date: it was on the front page, so it must've been 6/20/09 haha. But I didn't really use it then; I just thought it was cool.

Now that I have been drawing more and more and my skills are improving, I want to color my black and white drawings (I mostly just like to draw and shade with pencil on paper). However, I just couldn't get a look that satisfied me. I had the general idea that you use, with coloring under the lines-that's obvious, but it just never came out right. Your tutorial has REALLY helped me now, after these years. I remembered it and came back to check it out again.

One of the ways it helped me most was actually your little trick at the very beginning. I had no idea how to get my lineart separate from the white of the paper without manually tracing it out. lol. you saved me a lot of time, effort, and frustration there. The coloring techniques helped a lot, too! I have a different style of drawing than you, especially the hair; the hair coloring didn't apply much, but everything else was really great. :)

[Reflex - Candyflame]

good

Fun reflex game, not overly challenging but still challenging. The only problem is after you finish, there's a problem if you try to play again. It currently shows a white screen, and it is looping that little Mochi Games music with the *wink* sound, and they are stacking... More and more of that same little jingle! aauuaaagh!

But that's really just a minor problem; you just have to reload the game.

--penalty for falling
--music, or sound at all
--running animation could be GREATLY improved
--art
--at least a little bit of story would be nice, even if it's just that he starts in a cage and you have to escape the zoo or something
